Doctor of Chiropractic. Integrative Rehabilitation Specialist.
Gabriel Wilson, BS, DC.
With a sculptor’s precision and a physician’s mind, Dr. Wilson reimagines chiropractic care as the elegant engineering of human movement.
From Grit to Grace: A Healer’s Journey Begins
Born in the golden hills of Grass Valley, California, Dr. Gabriel Wilson brings both grit and grace to the modern chiropractic landscape. His journey into the profession began not in a classroom, but on a construction site—where a severe back injury at nineteen left him temporarily unable to work. Through chiropractic care, he experienced a profound recovery that restored his mobility and transformed his understanding of pain management. This defining experience ignited a lifelong dedication to non-pharmacological healing and the advancement of evidence-based manual medicine.
An Education Built on Excellence and Purpose
A proud graduate of the University of Western States, Dr. Wilson earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2013 and his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in early 2016. His clinical education included immersive internships across four of Portland’s major multidisciplinary clinics, where he refined a diverse skill set spanning spinal biomechanics, rehabilitative exercise, and integrative pain management.
Empowering Recovery Through Knowledge and Precision
Dr. Wilson’s approach to care blends clinical precision with patient empowerment. Each treatment plan emphasizes functional recovery and patient education—combining traditional chiropractic adjustment techniques with targeted rehabilitative exercise, soft-tissue therapy, and movement retraining. His philosophy is simple yet profound:
“Lasting change begins when patients understand and participate in their own healing process.”
Champion of the Working Body
With a professional passion rooted in his own blue-collar background, Dr. Wilson takes special pride in caring for tradesmen and women, addressing the occupational demands and chronic pain patterns unique to manual labor. His expertise extends to work-related injuries, post-traumatic pain syndromes, and long-term mobility restoration, while his calm, methodical demeanor makes him especially trusted among senior patients seeking gentle, restorative care.
Expanding Access Through Neurodiversity-Informed Care
Dr. Wilson also shares in the clinic’s progressive mission to advance neurodiversity-informed healthcare. Alongside Dr. Aptecker, he works to expand accessibility for individuals with Autism and ADHD by refining sensory environments, adapting communication strategies, and personalizing scheduling support—all with a focus on dignity, comfort, and individualized care.
Supporting Mothers With Skill and Sensitivity
In addition to his work with neurodivergent and occupational populations, Dr. Wilson has completed advanced training in peri- and post-natal chiropractic management, receiving his Webster Certification, and offering specialized care for pregnancy-related musculoskeletal health.
Balance Beyond the Clinic
Outside the clinic, Dr. Wilson’s curiosity and vitality extend into his personal life—he is an avid reader, birder, tinkerer, and gardener who finds balance in movement, learning, and the quiet satisfaction of a well-tended landscape.
